After a very relaxing flight ( I got a free upgrade to business class, thanks Chris) I arrived in Amsterdam on Thursday morning, got checked into my hostel and explored the city. I ve been hanging out with a number of different backpackers (mostly from Canada) who are staying in the same 12-person room. Its Friday morning at 9:00 am here and today the plan is to make it to the Anne Frank House and possibly the Rembrandt museum. If the weather is nice a few of us are going to rent bikes and go exploring the beauty of Amsterdam. It is a great city with great people.
I can not wait to begin my adventure in Africa, I am leaving on a 10:00 am flight on Saturday and 10 hrs after that I should arrive at Kilimanjarro International Airport with the group of UGA students. I look forward to keeping everyone updated.
